I am still setting out at this time in the evening for lots of different ideas and uses of light/dark/gloom. It seems all the best ones are almost the last taken.
This one at 8.52 pm on the one horse track in Cofton Hackett,Worcestershire.
The Lamp's use is two-fold.One as a general light as it's REALLY dark here.I am virtually under the railway bridge and all those trees block out most of the light.
The other reason is to light the steps into the Church and Cemetry of St Michael and All Saints Parish Church,Cofton Hackett.
Think it neads someone or thing going up the road but not a lot of walkers go this far down this dead-end road.(Might try POSING myself) .Cars do as I every time I set up a car came from the Yacht club to disturb me...Cheek !!
Sun's out,got to go off again.

An interesting image.
The light from the streetlamp gices a lovely tone to the trees and path.
Nice idea, well done.

Not technically perfect, but a lots off mood in it. I think that a person or something at the end off the road would be great

Makes me wonder what's around the bend. A spooky, atmospheric shot, Keith. I'd like to see the left-hand side of the steps.

Thanks everyone for your comments (and votes).

Peter (jaktis),It was the mood I was after.Any tips on the technical side.

Ian, I aint staying later, with all the graves one might turn up.

Peter(kin). As I said it was stop/start with the cars. Also with my viewfinder the view is not always as it comes up on the computer. But I SHOULD have checked before packing up.
I did worry about that myself and should have known one of you would pick up on it.

Thanks again,Cheers ,Keith.

I like the ambient light from the lamp mixed with the day light through the trees, gives a fantasy feel to it i think Smile
