I was up in the Lake District in January with a friend of mine, who lives there (sooooo jealous!). He's just getting into photography so I was helping him get the hang of some basics. We weather was fairly dire, but I managed to get some divine moments where everything felt like it came together.
I was just talking through with my friend, how to change your viewpoint to get a more dramatic perspective in a shot and over the mountains came this dark storm cloud throwing the scene into one of gloom and doom. Everything just seemed to look fantastic so I shot away.
I monochromed it as the colour version didn't do it justice and I've punched it up somewhat to emphasise the drama.
