This butterfly is one of the larger Blue butterflies, it has an intriguing life cycle-the lava resides in the nest of the red ant for the latter part of its life, feeding on the grub of its host.
The picture was taken last year and I apologise for the quality.

I love the way the leaf bends and the butterfly is sat on it perfectly, what a lovely image.
