6 shots for you today and they will be the last of the festival parade.
A mixed bag from musicians, to scholars, to the clergy etc.
As previous, all shot in difficult circumstances, so please forgive the quality where it is a bit lacking.

Thanks for stopping by and for your continued support.
Hope you are all having a great weekend.

Fine shots, the gentleman in v1 is quite fascinating, like a Celtic warrior.

Only one clean-shaven adult male here. I remember when our daughter was little and we'd take her to concerts and festivals, she'd look around and say 'There are too many beards here, it's a bad sign...'
Love V1, there's a Northumbrian piper with a fine collection of facial ironmongery too. V2 & V6 - very Chaucerian. Fine set.

An enjoyable and well-photographed series, Annette. Perfect portraiture is impossible under such circumstances; this however is excellent street photography, very evocative of the festival atmosphere. Your subjects are well chosenand full of character; obviously as a medievalist and a bagpiper I'm going to examine and approve #1 and #4 (the miniature kettledrums are known to musicologists as naqquara, in English Nakers, which some readers might consider appropriate Smile)
Regards
Bill

Hi Annette, this is a very fine series of images of a good day out. I think all of these six images are well taken, good quality, but V2 is outstanding in my oppinion. Super light and a wonderful smile.
