last ones I promise before you get well and truly fed up with poppies but I had to show these few - many thanks for all c/c's on yesterdays set, always appreciate your views and comments thank youSmile

Had a little boost to my moral last evening at the local club in winning the shield for the most points in the projected digital images section - in fact I have to say, while we all hope for recognition I was in shock as I never expected this at allSmile

Hi Ann
You have had some crackers on this shoot, today I like V4 but all worthy of a vote!

You certainly shot plenty of images that day Ann, and why not make poppies while the sun shines.

It's been a good series, you've explored the subject from different angles and perspectives.
Here I think I favour V2, I'm a shallow-dof fan but just that bit of soft detail gives so much depth.

Congrats on last night, well deserved I would guess from your pics on this site. Prefer V3 today, sorry can't give you any super technical reason, but it just appeals the most.

Good detail on the poppy Ann and especially the stamens. Just needs a little noise reduction from the crop, which spoils the background
