This is my most recent, and for this year, last attempt to get a shot of this view of the Topping, with some heather still around.
The sky was a little better last night, but the heather is mostly past its best. I liked the mixture of stones and heather at this spot. It was rather windy, though, and I think at this point I had Freddie, my Mum's dog, up on my lap as I was stting awkwardly on the hillside trying to get the right composition!
