One from the archives I'm afraid. But really having fun lately with tonemapping. Another Tonemapped image converted to B&W, and toned in PS.
Taken in the Southern Drakensberg, at Castleburn Resort.
Thanks for looking.
Fabulous mono image.
Very nice result - has a lot of impact. I'll have to read up on this 'tonemapping' thing!
An absolute stunner of an image, nice idea to use the tonemapping because it has worked a treat. Really impressive shot.
What an amazing shot - these clouds and their direction, the detailing, the tones, the scene, superb!
Excellent, Bruce. Still not sure what this tone-mapping thing is, but whatever it is it certainly works wonders when applied to an image as fine as this.
the tone mapping has given it a lovely glow, especially nice on the sky I think
Thank you all. Couldn't decide between this or the colour version...
A quality shot all round Bruce. Tone mapping isn't over-done, the toning is sublime and the quality of capture just leaps out at you ... another worthy addition to your quality PF
Absolutely stunning! I have no idea what tone-mapping is, but it looks good!!
Definately best viewed large!
Beautiful image-like this very much.
Lovely shot. Great clarity throughout.
Superb conversion Bruce.
Very effective and well worth the look large!
Hi Bruce, this is a stunner, luv the cloud formations
Superb image, Bruce. Wonderfull conversion and I particularly like the capture of the fisherman and the glow from the fg boat. Simply awesome.
