Firstly very nice picture, what gets it for me are the striking autumn colours. The only negatives for me are the level (needs rotating clockwise slightly) and the twig that comes into the foreground from about 1/3rd in from the right and extends diagonally to just left of the middle of the frame. However I still think its a nice shot

Thank you for your comment Chris. This picture was taken with the ground on a slope which is making it look like it is not level. I have not really notice the twig until you mentioned it but I can see it now, maybe I need to have a go and remove it.

Fantastic light, love that idea of the branch leading you in from the right! suits me down to the ground, as I normally use the left hand side of my brain and can even read backwards, and I do love trees it's great, regards Leon.GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

The light and shadow gives a good depth to the image, and the colour is well saturated. A great place to be 'tripping' the light fantastic.

If you look at the trees they are straight so shows the ground is sloping so no rotation required.

A really nice image. gary

I'd gathered it was on a slope, but whenever I look at it I start tipping my head. As I said I still like this picture the colours and light are excellent. This was just my personal view
