This is for Elaine, who had been re-admitted to hospital today - we thought she was on the mend but, hey ho, life is full of kicks and punches below the belt.
A cabbage white, on lavender in a pot, which I had "hidden" beneath a tree as I knew it would never recover the cold, wet conditions it had to endure for months and months and months and months. Sometimes, though, it is difficult to face the end of something...even though we know it is kinder to say goodbye. Most of you will know what I mean.
How wonderfully cathartic is photography and "playing around in PS (or whatever)" - it doesn't matter if a masterpiece results, sometimes just a glimpse of something else is there, through the lens, with a PS paintbrush....
