My sister loves chandeliers. This is one she has hanging in the woods along the driveway to her front door.
She lives in the small town of Macedon, New York (near Rochester) (USA).
This sure is a very special image !! very well taken and an excellent photo !!
What an unusual place to hang a chandelier, Walter, but doesn't it make for a beautiful image Carol
Quote: What an unusual place to hang a chandelier,. . .
Well, let's not forget who's sister she is.
I know she is your sister, you said it, but I cannot help saying, "What an arbitrary location for a chandelier of this sort!" It is a great shot of an unusual image, I love the light and the colours, Walter. Amazing image, indeed!
Hope the tree doesn't catch fire! Good to know that your sister is as interested In light as you are
Very well composed!
Certainly an unusual place to find a chandelier Walter, good details and reflection in the chandelier too
And we have a reflection of the wider picture... This is so beautifully quirky, love it.
How delightful! Love the simple harmony of the colours and the angle you have selected, putting the chandelier against a pleasing o/o/f background.
I love this idea---love the reflections on the chandlier
Thanks for your message, I think this fits in with your idea there!
Wonderful incongruity, Walter, and the reflection is a lovely addition.
Nice idea and like the reflections at the bottom of it, looking good Walter, regards Leon.
What a wonderful way to light up our lives...
What a splendid idea your sister had Walter! A superb shot with contrasting textures and colours and a fab reflection in the chandelier. nice one Walter
I love the reflection in the bottom of the chandelier - a little universe all it's own.
Does she take the chandeliers in when it rains - questions, questions. I take it they are only used for candles. Very quirky and cool idea - wouldn't mind having some hanging from my live oak tree limbs.........
A wonderful and unusual way of greeting evening visitors Walter . You have taken it so well xx
wow! I love this image !! I love the textures of the metal and the wood, they compliment each other well.
