Thanks for all the CC's on my last upload. Always much appreciated that you take the time to look.
I am still too d--n busy to visit here often and I do miss it.
I managed to take some pictures of the Somerset levels as a landscape subject as opposed to a wildlife hotspot.
V1 is taken in the early summer at Greylake.
V2 is also summer - the visitors seem to be getting on very well at the Burrow Mump - one of the iconic features of the levels.
V3 to V5 are Dawn winter shots at Catcott lake.
V6 is a very early morning pano (composite) of Catcott lake with Glastonbury Tor -another iconic feature - in the distance.
Hope you like them. A

A superb set of images, Arthur, each one worthy of its own upload. I love V.1, with thaat stunning sky, but my fave has to be V.6 with the Tor in the distance. How I miss Somerset, my favourite county, along with Yorkshire. Carol

Wow! No way can I settle for just one of these. All superb and the light in each is magical. If really pushed, I do love those in-flight Mallards winging across the sky in that ancient and mysterious part of the world, so in the end V6 is very special.

The light in all of these images is absolutely wonderful-- hard to choose a favorite, but v2 stands out -- love the onlookers at the ruins!

Terrific images Arthur; any one of them could be shown on its own. I must say my favourite would be V6 with that superb flight of ducks in the shot- stunning.

All these shots without exception are beautiful and worthy of their own upload. Afraid I can't choose a favourite here. Moira

You have been more than generous in posting so many fine shots all at once and so different in nature, Arthur: would be iniquitous to single out one above the rest so they'll have to share my single vote. Having said that, I am rather attracted towards V 1, 3 and 6 particularly.
Ronnie.

My second home and captured it in all it's colourful glory......V6 The mallards with the Tor in the background is especially impressive and is worthy of an upload all on it's own.....Am I right in thinking most of the images were taken in or very near to Catcot?
