One from our last evening in Cornwall and this time down at Land's End, where one again we were treated to a decent drop of light, when it looked a little unlikely at first!!! I had been wanting to shoot this sea arch at sundown for some time but always seemed to be elsewhere doing something else instead, so given half the chance [plus it was only 15 minutes drive form the cottage] I was always going to bag one from this angle Grin

There was some very light cloud on the horizon which helped to diffuse the sun's strength somewhat here, but it didn't stop the warm glow of the sun being cast over the sea's surface Smile

0.6 ND Grad [hard] to help balance the sky out + 0.6 ProGlass ND to slow things down a little more.

Cheers for looking in ... a few more from here to come [in time] Wink

Paul

Well....that's the shot I had in mind! You beat me to it! Tongue
Sadly, we didn't get to Land's End this trip, instead moving eastwards hoping to get something from Morgan's Backyard - which didn't happen!

Very nicely done, Paul - really excellent control on this and the softness of the light is spot on. I'm jealous! Wink

I am jealous. Where I live, all the coastlines face East and it's hours to the nearest South or West facing beach that's half decent. As I am a B person, I miss out on the sunrises in the East.Sad

Iconic, this one Paul, but I bet there aren't many images from here as good as this. One to be proud of.

Super shot mate. As you say the icing would have been the light through the arch, but this isn't exactly shabby is it!!
