Not sure what effect you were trying to achieve here - although there may be a link between 'guide dog' and 'darkness', I'm guessing.
Conventional wisdom would have it that the photo is very underexposed and has a colour cast. Also the dog looks as if it is floating in mid-air.
I've uploaded a mod, but I appreciate this may not be what you were trying to portray.
coming over very dark here, underexposed, prefer carabosse mod.
To be honest ,,not sure myself,,but I do like your mod, much better.
Mind you I think he sprung a leak,,,Lol,,
See what you mean,
Now I am going to be a complete arse here and say that I quite like what you have done. Yes conventionally speaking it is underexposed, but I guess you were trying to do something a bit different, in which case you have succeeded and I like it. Carabosse mod is good but its much the same as any other pet portrait.
Somthing different Matt, what I am not to sure,,
I quite like the original as a different take on a pet portrait but I take CB's point about floating in the air. Also like ianmac's flipping so dog is looking into the pic.
Thanks Ian for the mod sent you a pm the other day, cheeres mate.
