Another from the beautiful Gloucester Cathedral.

Lighting a candle is a prayer:
When we have gone, it stays alight.
kindling in the minds and hearts of others
the prayers we have already offered.

My thanks for your time, as always your thoughts/comments are very welcome/

There's a very subtle warm low, understated and austere but very beautiful against the cold stone.
I'm going to be picky and mention that I find the verticals on either extreme of the image a bit odd. I want to skew bottom left and top right out a degree or two, and then there's a bit of barrel distortion on the right. One of those images, I suspect, where it's very difficult to get it right.

Thank you everyone for your time and comments, always appreciated!

Moira, yes I do agree with you, I did try to correct the distortion but didn't get it quite right, still on the wonk! Next time I intend to take my tripod and my 10-20mm and spend much more time in there!

A wonderfully captured Image Sarah. I like it very much,
Great colours and lines, mixed with medieval textures.

What an unusual and magnificent doorway. Your treatment has brought out all the nuance of the colors and textures.

A beautiful capture, Sarah - and though as Moira says, there's a little barrel distortion and the verticals are slightly off, I like it a lot - wonderful processing, and love the warm glow in the foreground Smile

Your compositions are always well considered Sarah. A well executed and thought provoking image. Your HDR/exposure blend processing works well in this setting.
