Friday night saw a bright 'almost full' moon and a chance to take some moonlit landscape shots.

This is the view from Mam Tor, looking down into the Edale valley. Taking a series of exposures to capture the star trails also reveals the twisting road down into the valley as a car lights the way. In the distance you can also see the straight trail left by a train travelling through the valley headed past the lights of Edale village. The distant lights of Greater Manchester provide some colour in the sky.

Top marks Anthony - shame it doesn't have the votes.
