Same Lilac as yesterday - different pot from the carboot Smile This one cost me a whole pound!

Lit using the octagonal softbox again - maybe a bit too much light on the pot?

So that's like $2.00 I guess, Canadian. You are a spendthrift. Makes a lovely image, and the detail in the lilac is lovely. ..............Sandy

Oh indeed I really emptied my purse yesterday - in fact I did as I gave £20 to my nephew for his birthday and spent the remaining £7 on bits and bobs Smile

Yesterday's pot was a whole £2!

Maybe I'll try the half dozen little bottles next.......

I might get the other brass pot out later and see what that comes out like Smile

Unfortunately I see that I did a lousy job of matching the velvet colours - the dress I used wasn't quite wide enough so I put a skirt behind it. I really am going to have to buy a couple of yard of crushed velvet - it would make life so much easier!

Love that pot Alison, you did well for a couple of quid !
Yes,the highlights on the container are a little on the strong side, perhaps shoot through another layer of muslin just to soften it a touch.

Oh indeed I did Janet Smile

I did think when taking this one that a bit more diffusion would be a good idea. The required diffuser wasn't to hand yesterday and I was too lazy to go and find it. I'll root it out for next time!

Thanks again folks Smile

I time my photo taking during the week so that I'm usually either eating my dinner at the same time or having my coffee - which probably accounts for the odd iffy but ie. the colour of the two velvets not matching and little spot I've just noticed at the top Smile That way however I can spend a fair bit of time messing about without using up too much of the evening!
