A nice arrangement of the subject within the frame, Pam: the whites have over-exposed though and you have lost detail in the petals........I note you used multi-segment metering.......could I suggest CWA (centre weighted average) or even better spot metering. For my own indoor floral shots, I find that multi-segment never works satisfactorily.
Maximum aperture is going to limit sharpness to a narrow zone, and for a shot like this sharpness across the full flower head is going to look better, but of course a long shutter speed would ensue and the need for a tripod would be advisable, if not essential. Just a few thoughts which I hope do not occasion offence.
