This lovely little finch lives in the reeds and trees near Lilly Creek lagoon.
If someone could give me a full identification of this little bird I’ll be eternally grateful 
This could well be a juvenile "Star Finch" (Neochmia ruficauda) according to Bill (Goso). So thanks Bill for your help in identifying this lovely little bird.

Hi, I'm 99.9% sure it's a FEMALE Red-billed Firefinch as shown here but I could be wrong, lovely shot,

The red Bill and the little white-ish spots below the chest plus the reddish tail are a dead give-away
