A re-work of an earlier post, cropped as suggested. I much prefer it to the original.

Enormous flan cases waiting to be filledGrin!
I prefer the previous version, Sandra. I like to see water around the lily pads, especially when the reflections in the water are good and interesting. The closer crop does give a better impression of their large size, and also shows some nice detail around the edges, but it feels too abstract for me. The last time I encountered these beauties, I used the water reflections to fill the bottom two thirds of the frame, used portrait format, and placed the lily pads at the top. Just my take on the subject, we are all different, and that's the fascination of photography.
Pamela.
