I've lived not far from here for almost 12 years but Sunday is the first time I've visited! Why are we generally so bad at looking at things on our doorstep..... I'll definitely be going again now!

Thanks for looking and thank you for yesterdays votes and comments,

Jude

Nicely composed, Jude, with the trees either side funnelling your vision through the centre. The lily pads make a great foreground as well.

Lucky you to have such a lovely place nearby
(where?)

A super capture of this beautiful, tranquil scene.
Looks great for the wildlife.
Well done.

Hi Barbara, it's in Hardwick Park just outside of Chesterfield. If you don't know it its National Trust parkland, part of Hardwick Hall ~ all very lovely!

Oh thank you Jude Smile
I love the Elizabethan Hardwick Hall, been twice now en route
to holidays. Also enjoyed a good meal at the nearby Hardwick Inn.
I didn't know there was such a lovely big lily pond there though.
Lovely to see.

B. Smile
