A week on Holy Island last week, but with grey and overcast weather for much of the week, did not return with as much as was hoped for. This is one of those shots that all visitors to the island must do, so I did it! I suspect that this old boat may not last much longer.
Thanks for looking,
Cheers,
Phil

I doubt very much there many first time shots anywhere, even if they havnt been photographed they will have been painted or drawn long ago.
But it still takes a bit of skill to go do the "must have" shots and do them justice, which I believe you have.
I like the sky and the composition, though I do feel Magpie is a touch high in the frame, but thats personal taste.
Well done, time you got back to Saltwick Wink

Thanks for your comments and votes. Thanks Steve for your cc. I see what you mean and will look at the position of the Magpie re composition, if not in this image but in future.
Phil.. no I will never be put off the Northumberland coast. The poor weather this time means that I will be back sooner than planned!!!
Cheers, Phil
