Claasy, you've even used the latin name, see if this had been me I would have called this "purple flower thing" or something equally banal! Lovely shot.

I love this shot, I keep meaning to have a go at flower shots with either white card or black behind, I think this is brilliant.

Ha ha John ... usitasitisimum . Very funny . Lovely flower and shadow . They only last a day don't they? And then the petals fall like confetti ready for more the morrow . Wonderful detail in such a tiny delicate flower .

Much better than pressing flowers but it does have a sort of "Edwardian Country Lady" feel to it. Very nicely done John, softly photographed yet plenty of detail retained
