For several weeks now I have been wading through a huge pile of pictures taken on our recent trip to Zambia. This first posting was taken in South Luangwa National Park and is of a little bee-eater, a distant relative of the kingfishers, that is common in the park throughout the year.

Many more pictures to follow.

Although a little soft, I like the colour and dof here. Nice 'almost' over the shoulder pose too.
