A view of Little Langdale from Lingmoor Fell yesterday when a beautiful but shortlived bit of light illuminated the valley.

After the exertions of the climb to this high vantage point, it's good the light played fair and illuminated the valley floor as well as the distant snow capped fell.
Would love to be able to reach such heights but these days have to settle for lower levels.
Ronnie.

Lovely perspective, Geoff, and the combination of weak sun and snow dusted tops raises the light levels nicely.

Well I have to say you are all right about the exertions - I'm a bit out of condition and 850 ft with a full camera bag, tripod and lunch (already eaten!) took its toll - not to mention the snow I didn't expect on Lingmoor - still it was worth itTongue
