Yet another image of Loch Assynt in Sutherland taken at the end of last month.
Similar to, but not the same as, an earlier upload from that trip. I found this one after I'd uploaded the other one like this and I like this one better, but I'll be interested to know what you think if you have time to check back ![]()
Many thanks for your votes and comments on my last upload.

A superb shot from L. Assynt, Sue. Beautifully composed, and how well the winter warm colours contrast with the colder blue/greys of the Loch and sky: and I particularly like the f/g grasses catching the low sun and set against the dark grey triangle of water which in itself points the eye further into the image. So glad you are out and about again, capturing scenes like this for us to view and enjoy.
Regards, Ronnie.
Be up there this time next week! Lovely shot Sue!

Well, Sue, I'd be more than happy with either hung on my wall, but after much toggling between the two, I think this has to be my fave ![]()

So hard to choose as both would hang with pride in my house. This one has the hill and matching line of cloud (well done for arranging that) pointing at the island which is very well composed. However for me the other image (I have them side-by-side in two windows) is the favourite for me. The lovely grasses lead out to the island and then the row of dead pines leads the eye off it towards the distant hills (as they do here) with no distractions. It's all very personal of course. But both fab as I said, so well done indeed.
