Took a drive over to Assynt in Sutherland yesterday but weather wasn't great for photography so didn't even bother to get my camera out of the car. Hopefully I'll get some new photos soon but, in the meantime, here's an image of Loch Assynt from October of last year.

Many thanks for your votes and comments on my recent images.

So nice to see these beautiful scenes from you again, Sue. This is a cracking capture - makes me long to be back up north of the border again, but will have to wait until Christmas! Hope your weather improves, and you're able to capture some new images. We have a Camera Club evening outing tonight, so hoping it stays fine! Smile

Beautiful image Sue - I know the feeling, weather forecast looks better for us here in Wales later in the week, hope it'll be the same for you also.

I like the way that the best Scottish photographers have adapted their technique to cope with flat light!

Stunning, Sue, so full of atmosphere. I never think of that area except with that brooding kind of sky.
