Still no new photos as we haven't been able to get out and about much since Phil's knee replacement op and then, to top it all, I hurt my back while gardening on Sunday and have had to borrow his crutches to walk for the last couple of days Sad

So here's an image of Loch Assynt from the archives. The mountain in the bg is Quinag and Ardvreck Castle is just visible in front of it.

Many thanks for you votes and comments on my recent uploads. They really are much appreciated.

Fabulous image.

Not that there's anything wrong as it is, but I think it'd be nice to see some more of the rocks just under the water. A polariser would have helped there.

I love the touch of pink in the sky. Wonder what that was all about? Very effective though. & you may have lost it if you'd followed my suggestion.

The pink sky is because it was sunrise. Had hoped for something a bit more dramatic, but that was as good as it got Smile

Good landscape Sue. Like the shapes and colours in the foreground - it takes a moment to work out that the pink in the water is reflected sky.

Hope you're both feeling better soon.

OMG what's been happening to you two? That's a bit of bad luck both of you with problems Sue. I've been leaving Phil till he gets back to normal with sitting in front of the computer, but this makes life difficult for both of you.
Hope the luck changes and that you both get back to normal as soon as possible. In the meantime keep up the trawling of the archive, it keeps turning up something missed, well done for that because this is a nice image with a great foreground. Please [ass my best wishes to Phil, Sue.

Thinking of you both,
Dougie

Oh dear, Sue, so sorry to hear about your back problems, do hope you're soon on the mend Sad A beautifully composed scene, I bet it would be nice there in the lovely weather we're having at the moment.
Take care and don't be overdoing things,
Trev Smile
