.......And the last picture that I took that saturday evening of the magical place called loch Etive.
I was in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by silence with an occasional ripple which came from the loch. Mountains of the highland encircled the lake.
These mountain's didn't care about how beautiful the place looked as they had witnessed it more times then i could imagine.
I was tired from the previous night's driving and very cold.
My camera battery was almost out and it was all dark around me. I decided to take one last shot.
I put my camera up on the Manfrotto tripod and left it there to capture the magic.
i went and stood near the fire, started by a few camper friends close by.
After 178 sec, I decided it was time for me to pack my camera up and head my way back to Strathasshynt guest house, Ballachulish, where a warm bed awaited my return.
I started seeing head lights of cars on the A82 as i moved closer, back into my own world.
I had a feeling of regret for leaving a wonderful place behind. Most importantly I knew that "I had been there" and "done that". And that the place was there and I could always return.
thanks for looking at the loch pictures and for your comments and clicks.
regards,
Akif

You are correct, "I had been there". I can still see those landscapes when i close my eyes. Good place to see & take pictures ![]()
Akif, its good to know that you enjoyed your visit to Scotland. As you say it will always be here so you be able to revisit any time.
Its a great image and a great parting shot.
Richie.
The Earth can't stop spinning for photographers Akif, we would all fly off into space.
Wonderful work my friend, alone in the dark on a cold night down Glen Etive, marvelous.
