I remember driving over the bridge on the A9 here once and the colours were amazing. But, as you say Dougie, this is about that sky. It's beautiful - and aren't we lucky to get enjoyment from the simple things of life like this?

I know this spot so well, Dougie: when the children were young we often took a chalet at Logierait and most days went into Pitlochry and walked around the loch shores, often crossing on the metal footbridge that lies under the road bridge here.
The colours are starting to develop and as you say the sky was begging for a shot to be taken.

At first glance I felt this lacked a point of interest in the loch, but after coming back to it, I feel it is lacking in nothing, Dougie. This is as you say all about the sky, and a poi in the water would detract from the impressive are above.
