...a little rocky promontary where oyster catchers devour muscles & discard the shells also anglers leave fag packets and cans, shame on you. The Oyster Catchers don't know any better.

The water looks cold, almost frozen... is it really again that time of the year, to expect ice on the water??? I hope not!
The clearness of the water is amazing.
Johanna
Loch Leven is a sea loch and the tide washes the shores daily. Just round the corner the ferry used to ply from side to side of the narrows which see the fast flowing water as the tides turn in and out, it fairly flies through the narrows. No sign of ice as yet it was cold in the morning but warmed up a lot later in the day. There's change in the weather though, cold nights to make you snuggle under the duvet.
Thanks for your visit Johanna, you always leave such good comments ith your greta knowledge of Scotland and it's songs & poetry. ![]()

Superb shot, love the clarity and reflections
Wasn't so lucky with the weather when we visited a few years ago
Some people just dont think no excuse but it doesnt take much effort to put rubbish in the right place or take it home. Good picture despite the fag ends
great reflections
Lovely recession and perspective, wonderful choice of viewpoint. The definition in the foreground and the rocky promontory is superb and stresses the diagonal division of the composition, with the upper right being a softer, mistier distance.
I think Autumn began here six days ago......

Bill
beautiful reflection and a cracking composition.
the water is sooo clear!
Marvellous choice of location with that highly detailed underwater foreground and the rock outcrop on the left.
Humans choose to do most things. The creatures of Nature use the instincts they are born with.
We are not that clever.
