Contrary to my previous two uploads, this is a panoramic crop of a shot I havn't already uploaded. Clearly the conditions are gloomy, and it had stopped raining (for a while), just beforehand. I have no illusions of this being really special, but I like the hint of a brighter patch in the middle, and the mood of it.

Please view the extra wide version if you have time

Conveys the mood (and the weather) perfectly. It was obviously an optimistic day - can just see that patch of brightness to show the sun's trying its best! Smile

Cheers!

Thanks all. Fran, it was a day where I nearly didn't bother going out at all. The weather was atrocious all morning in Corpach, and it was raining or spitting for most of my drive.

This is special enough for me Nigel. It's a brilliant panorama and one which conveys the mood and atmosphere that is typical of the Scottish Highlands .

OK, I'm not seeing why this wouldn't be special. It's gorgeous, and it shows the beauty of a day that isn't of 'perfect weather.' Even in the storms and overcast, there's always a hint of better things to come. We just have to go through the less loved conditions to appreciate them more. Smile

My apologies for the late arrival Nigel - but glad I got here eventually. Mood aplenty in this fine panoramic, even in these gloomy overcast conditions the scenery is still stunning as can clearly be seen in the large version. Lovely patch of light centre of frame.

Better late than never Nigel! - I agree with all the others, there's a great mood captured here, the pano works well and you prove that you can make a good shot even in adverse conditions - well taken!
