Another image of Loch Maree in Wester Ross taken last week. The mountain in the bg is Slioch. V2 is a slightly closer crop.

Many thanks to all those of you who have taken the time to vote and comment on my recent uploads.

two good'uns again Sue, I prefer V2 as it's less busy in the foreground, but on the flip side I prefer to see the blue sky in V1, some folks just can't be pleased Wink

Tony, my sentiments exactly - the difference between the versions I mean not that some folks just can't be pleased Smile

I prefer the fg and the closer view of Slioch in V2, but didn't like losing the bigger sky, including the blue patch, in V1, which is why I uploaded both for people to choose their favourite Smile

More cracking stuff, Sue, soooo beautiful. I do like both versions, but if I have to choose, it's V1 for me, for the composotion and the patch of blue sky.
Many thanks, too, for your your birthday wishes Smile

This really looks a lovely place to visit Sue. I like both versions, and this time, there's nothing between them in my book, so it's a half a vote each from me Smile

For me version 2 works the best as it seem to focus you more into the image Sue. Good capture from a fine location.

V1 just has the edge for me with that touch of blue in the sky, well done, nice composition.
