Hi all, hope you are all well.

Here is my first upload from a beautiful week in Scotland. Stayed in a huge cottage near Drumnadrochit.

This is a low level light image using a Lee 0.9ND filter, 30 sec exposure with f16 looking over Loch Ness from Dores beach.

Please view large and let me know what you think regarding composition, lighting etc.

Thanks, Jerry

A fine low light image with great foreground interest, I really like the way everything , clouds , mountains and the poles in the water all lead the eye into the image and seem to meet at a perfectly positioned point.

Possibly a little too dark but it could be my monitor. The large version is full of interesting detail, a great shot.

I have a preference for v1, it is dark and mysterious with that little touch of pink sky. Well photographed, I think.

Fine rendering of the loch - prefer V2 where the f/g is lit just that little bit more - captures the drama of the location.

Now I was staying in Drumnadrochit the first week in Easter - stayed at Clunemore cottage near Divach falls. Wish I'd gone to Dores as it looks like a good spot. Great shot - what time of day was it ? Looks like the sun is in the west so I'm guessing lateafternoon ????

Stunning shot with a very nice crop. I am preferring version 1 as on my monitor, version 2 looks a little blown out. Fantastic detail throughout, a cracking shot.

Impressive image indeed, Jerry!
Must have been still waters? The few 30 second exposures I've taken just look like ice!
Great composition and colours too... nice work.
And thanks for your comment/critique on mine - much appreciated.
Steve.
