Another archive shot from April 2009, a late afternoon view along Loch Tummel from the Queen's View as a storm moves in. Moments later the heavens opened and we got soaked.
The peak to the left is Schiehallion.

Many thanks to all who had a look at my Full Frontal image and left humourous comments.

Ronnie.

One of the few places I have actually been to Ronnie,
and a fine weekend of it we had too.
The hotel we stayed at was selling McEwans export,on offer, for a pound a pint !!
I actually saw this view from their ''viewing area'',but kept stumbling in all the holes left from tripods !!
Super shot.
Mick.

Certainly looks black up the loch Ronnie, amazing how long it takes to get back to the car, especially if you park at the far end. I've been here in summer sunshine, autumn's golden colours and snow on the mountains, never seen rain here...YET.

Whilst I was sat having a coffee up town earlier, I was looking through my EPZ favourites on my iPhone, and at first glance I thought this was looking down Loch Riddon, where I was at Christmas! I did, however, visit this area on my New Year holiday four years ago, when I stayed in Pitlochry. On our coach trip out we stopped off at Queen's View, and it was very grey and miserable and raining, and very misty too! Sad But it certainly is a wonderful view (mist or no mist!) and I took four images from left to right to create one of my first panoramic stitches.
A super capture, Ronnie, love the beams of sunlight coming down in the distance Smile
