Thank you for your nice comments on my Hidden Treasure yesterday, and especially Helen for her U.A.; much appreciated!
Nobody guessed what it actually was although several identified the sink Wink
It was an aluminium palette with coloured inks that my wife left in the sink to soak after a little art project. The light was just right to bring it out.

That brass screw is very important to this well observed and photographed abstract.

Love this one, V2 for me. I like the way the lock has worn a circle around it, and revealed the woodgrain underneath the paint. There is so much to see and ponder on in just this small part of a door (?).

I like v1, it seems more balanced to me. The colors are wonderfully gritty, yet complimentary.

V1 - better balanced for me too.
This has the look of a spacecraft designed by Mick floating over a planet probably designed by him too.

I couldn't help thinking of Mick on seeing image and title together, even though this an un-Mick kind of lock. It is probably more secure than some of the locks he has shown us in the past!
V1 appeals to me more than V2, perhaps because its balance is unbalanced. If you see what I mean!

Bill
