A logjam at the outflow of Moraine Lake provided me with this nice little detail.

Weather-bleached wood reflecting the pale dawn sky.

A well spotted composition Julian. The clean bleached timber and the cool tones are beautifully complemented by the flat lighting and perfect clarity.

The kind of image you expect from large format, the opposing diagonals are very appealing and bind the image together. Carefully considered composition done so well, as ever.

I find myself totally agreeing with Derek once more. And a hearty cheer for the LX3 too.
