Beautiful shot, colours and comp are fab...Steve
A nice sheen on the water and lovely autumnal tones Luis..
Very nice, good colours and great sky.
Great composition - Jonathan
Your best so far mate - love this excellently processed - well done!!!!!!
This is nicely composed shot of an interesting subject. The fallen leaves in the foreground add wonderful colour and the muted trees in the background add interest there without being distracting. The main tree's a bit dark but I'm not sure there's a lot you could do about that, short of a generator truck and a set of stage lights.
A couple of little tweaks that would make the composition even better Including just a little bit more to the right hand side would give a continuous sweep of shoreline from the foreground right through to the horizon, helping to draw the eye through the shot. The far shoreline isn't quite level and, even though it isn't a true horizon, it looks rather like one. It's so close to being level that my eye, at least, thinks it ought to be and decides that, since it's sloping, the camera wasn't quite straight. Rotating the image anti-clockwise a couple of degrees would avoid this.
I think you'll find that it's Milarochy Bay Luis and NOT Balmaha ... go wash your mouth out young man
A very good take on this iconic tree mate, well processed too.

Thank you everyone, info has been edited to reflect the right location
Know that tree well, well captured with good colour and detail.
Lovely capture there Luis... composition and colours are spot on!!!
I think it's going to be even lonelier now without its twice yearly invasion!
That is beautifull.

agree with sut, very well processed.and presented.
I just love these lone tree shots.
Like the ''rooty'' detail here.
Good to meet you Luis. I like the tones in the sky, and sheen on the water.
That lonely tree is such a good model, isn't it? Well captured, Luis! Looks like gold sprinkled in the water too. Gives it a WARM feel...
one fab clear sharp detailed shot
Nice shot and very interesting critique.
I've always liked this tree, and you've captured it very well.
This is a beauty Luis! Your composition is excellent and the tones and colours are beautifully rendered. I agree about the slight horizon issue, but I think you've got enough of the shoreline sweep on the right to get away with it as it is.
