i am uploading this photo again. I had to walk lonely with my shadow as my only companion
the landscape ahead of me was very panoramic
another passerby took this photo for me in my mobile and the result was simply superb

Nice shot, Padma. You can do a lot with camera phones these days.

You are well positioned in the frame and your shadow does give that extra dimension of loneliness to the shot. I Like the way the path curves round to the left. My only point is that the path drops down quite a way to the left. It may have done that in real life but the mountains look a bit strange as they are also tilting down to the left. Either the camera was not held straight or there was some distortion in the taking of the shot.

I have uploaded a mod for you where I have straightened the horizon using image>transform> skew. It's quite tricky to get it right as you will change shape along with the rest ofthe pic! I hope I have not distorted you too much.

Best wishes

Catherine

As a reminder of a visit, this isn't at all bad but as has been said, the horizon needs some attention and for me at least, the colours are a bit bright.
I think the biggest problem you have here though is with the composition.
There's lots of road in the foreground and the top of the tree is cropped.
I've uploaded a mod. in which I've extended the canvas and cloned in some tree and sky. I've also straightened it and de-saturated the colours (-30).
Hope it's OK.

Bren.

Edit: I didn't realise until I'd uploaded the mod but the palm trees are now falling over!
