The texture definitely adds to the atmosphere - as do those circling crows (which I love)!

Wonderful composition and atmosphere. The placing of the tree, birds and the character in red work very well and the texture is the icing on the cake. GrinGrinGrin

Blooming marvellous, Malcolm. The only thing for me is that the figure should be more mysterious, ghost-like, not day-glo orange....just a thought.

A wonderful example of taking an image and turning it into something very
special. Wish I had you to teach me a few tricks.
A beautifully shaped tree and those birds sharp and stark
in an image shrouded with mystery.
