the odd one popped in today, while I was set up.
Just after wrapping up (to damn cold) a flock of about 16 of them flew in to the feeders.

Very nice Nigel. Its looks like he/she was pulled backwards through a rolled up carpet with all the feathers ruffled up. Great detail in the bird

Nigel I hope you dont mind me saying that the composition of this shot doesn't look right to me a bit too central.

But the quality of the image is something I would love to be good enough to achieve, maybe one day.
