The long-tailed tit is an adorable, small fluffy pinkish bird. It is easily recognisable with its distinctive colouring, and tail that is longer than its body. They are rarely seen alone and are usually noticed in small excitable flocks of half a dozen or more. This one was quite curious and I managed to get a couple of grab shots, whilst the rest of its family were noisily fighting over the peanuts which had been provided.

Thank you everyone for taking the time to comment on my chaffinch yesterday.

Barbara

The LARGE version is the best option to view this little fella, if you can.
