After the beauty, grace and elegance of the avocets I uploaded for Mikbee yesterday, todays upload is all about muscle and power. This is a magnificent longhorn bull I saw in a field beside the South Finger Reedbed at Slimbridge on Thursday morning, luckily there was a fence between myself and this beast!

Was he about to charge? Perhaps, thinking twice having lost the tip of his horns from a previous encounter.
Excellent shot of this power house, Ed.

I wonder if they cut the tips off the horns for a reason. Hope they have a good strong fence. Great shot.......Sandy

Strange how the horns are clipped. Perhaps he has a really bad temper and the owner is taking no chances. In all events a fine image Ed.
