Two wonderful macro images of this rather handsome looking Moth. However, "May I be so bold as to say, that I would rather see them in their natural environment, rather than they being displayed on a clinically white sheet of paper?"

Regards Nathan

P.S. Hope everything is well with you, and have a great weekend if possible. Grin

My experience in Spain tells me that a moth's natural environment is on an inside wall at night! Lovely capture and I love those legs.

Moths tend to be overshadowed by butterflies but seen up close they can be quite handsome little critters. More fine macro work from you Carol.

The sidelight gives a good shadow and lovely texture to the moth. Excellent shadow macro, Carol.

Wonderful textures and details in your little moth visitor. Can see where the inspiration for Stealth Bombers' shapes came from! V1 is my favourite.

This moth looks rather like a skipper butterfly, I like the angle you've taken this one from. Your shadows are much better than my pathetic attemptSmile
