Two wonderful macro images of this rather handsome looking Moth. However, "May I be so bold as to say, that I would rather see them in their natural environment, rather than they being displayed on a clinically white sheet of paper?"
Regards Nathan
P.S. Hope everything is well with you, and have a great weekend if possible. ![]()
My experience in Spain tells me that a moth's natural environment is on an inside wall at night! Lovely capture and I love those legs.
n01 for me- fantastic detail and shadow!

The sidelight gives a good shadow and lovely texture to the moth. Excellent shadow macro, Carol.

Probably one did carry the design to drawing board to make Stealth fighters.
Pipe cleaners occurred to me, too.
Handsome little critter, glad it popped in for a visit.
This moth looks rather like a skipper butterfly, I like the angle you've taken this one from. Your shadows are much better than my pathetic attempt![]()
