Banjo Pier in East Looe Cornwall.
Just experimenting in B/W. Colour versions to follow latter. Thought that I’d try this one first.

hey Rob....I used to live on Hay Lane in Looe....know this well...I would have been tempted to break the horizon with the wall by just a fraction....stuart

I think this mono works very well IMHO - - I agree with Stuarts suggestion of the horizon

Great detail and textured in your well composed image. I like the way the end of the pier and horizon meet and think you got that right! Monos are not high on my list of favourite things, but this certainly works perfectly.

Love this shot, I couldn't get a clear shot on my visit as it was hot and very busy. The b&w make it look even more fabulous

I cropped the right side and increased the contrast. The second mod is a two toned mono.
