Start of the rainy season: clouds appearing over West Bay, Dorset. Taken in June, where rain stopped play.

Thanks for looking.
Hope you had a BETTER weekend.

lovely lighting and sky detail
- we saw blue sky and fluffy clouds today - it seemed as if the world had been grey for ever !

Lovely view and cloud formation. The sun's shining here now, but more rain forecast for this afternoon. :-(

Another lovely photo Daphne, the Gulls in the foreground lead you into it nicely.

You have trodden the exposure path very carefully here, any more and you would lose the sky and any less and you would lose the harbour wall.
Do you have any graduated filters?
You would make your life so much easier with this type of shot to just add a touch in the sky now and again.
You have captured a beautiful scene here, so much going on. Excellent work.

This is the West Bay that I know and love so well! Brilliant shot Daphne. Your sky is lovely but I have to get some graduated filters as well..often my sky is over exposed or too turquoise.

Well I think these are most delightful comments and unexpected too. I cannot put filters on this small Fuji, I only carry it because it's easy to handle. I cannot alter skies in Paint-shop with out leaving a trace. But when I get older (how much older?) I will use filters with the cannon. Thanks for these interesting comments
