Nice image in most every respect. Depth of field belies the f6.3? I would have gone for f8 and s slightly lower shutter speed, but would the image have been better? Probably not.

Looking at the crisp shadow of the beak and the very high shutter speed I can guess you had a bright day. In that case using a lower iso of 200 would have allowed you to drop the shutter speed and select a smaller aperture. This would have raised the IQ, image quality, using spot focus and using the eye as the focus point would have made the image sharp. It looks as if you have over sharpened the image to overcome some softness.

At 500mm a tripod is essential, you don't say if you have used one.

The image is slightly cramped , a little more room around the bird would overcome this.
