Lost

Either the bird found it or the feather blew away in the last wind storm.

So--- I'm just mentioning this-- considering the hype for the storm that is to hit us over night--- we may or may not have power/be on line tomorrow-

LOL, I may also have some great photo ops!

Well seen, taken and presented Jennn. As to the weather, starting tomorrow night and right through Saturday, it seems we're in for a rough time, like you, I just keep my fingers crossed for the power, we lost it for four hours a week ago today.Sad

Lovely textures and details. All the best re the weather. We were told about searing North winds which thankfully never did happen this week, so here's hoping the same applies for you!

An extreme macro or a very large feather?
It does look like a strange creature.
Hope the storm isn't too bad.

I'm sure it'll find a good home soon as part of a bird nest and help keep the next generation warm and cosy. Smile

The shape of the log with the battered feather on top resembles some strange forest creature Jenn. Good eyes!

Yes, see you all are about to get the Nor-easter of all Nor-easters, and that a state of emergency has already been issued for several states. Stay safe, and when it's over done the boots and capture what you can.
