Mmmm, this works well Mark, love the detail in the posts and the water is just right. Have you tried a square crop, from the top left?
Andy
Very nice...............your eyes are taken on a journey and then you wonder what is on the far shore..............lovely.........![]()

The groyne gives an excellent, strong structural element to the image, Mark. Lovely tones as well. A square crop might be worth looking at too... as a variation.

A GEA! You must be doing something right Mark!
Time to believe in yourself.
Love this in mono and I do like that little bit more
subject matter with the groynes.
Although people are suggesting a square crop, I think this is good as it is
because the size of the groynes supports the empty space.
Also you don't want to loose the detail on horizon.

Nice one, Mark. ![]()
I think you could easily afford tor crop this as the top of the sky is not really adding much and is a little noisy.
Try a 16:9 crop from the bottom up.
I think you'll be surprised at how much it will improve the composition - would make the the posts much mor prominent an dynamic to counter balance the long exposure.
A though, anyway!
Congrats on your GEA ![]()
Cheers,
Bill
ps: Just noticed some are suggesting a square crop - erm...I just like to be different! ![]()
Oh, YES!!
That works... ![]()
Onwards and upwards, Mark ![]()
Cheers
Bill
Congratulations on the GEA Mark - well captured
Helen
