A lampshade and spotlights, photographed through the window of an Oxford Street café. That’s all.
I’m uploading this with and without frame, I think it could make quite a difference.
An interesting day ahead - this morning I’m photographing a visit by the Duke of Kent, this afternoon we’re off on holiday. We’ll be back in a couple of weeks time.
Thanks for looking,
Moira

Moira, first an interesting shot, thought that you ahd been playing around in PS, like with the framing but the presentation is great
Have a well earned holiday and good luck for the afternoons photographing!

No serious manipulation, Lillian, just tweaks in Levels and Brightness. I was looking up at an angle through the shop window, I was amazed at how black the ceiling came out!

Super shot Moira, reminds me of a one of Maggies taken in Camden, I believe. My preference is for V1, I think the containment of the frame works slightly better, could be just me though! Goodluck with the photos and have a wonderful holiday.

We both have Royal connections you see.My lot are like the lot on the telly in The Royal Family !! I prefer your one without the frame Moira.I have been in the frame too many times in the past !!
Have a nice holiday.

Ooo...very very VERY well shot, Moira. V2 works better for me 'cos it looks like something flying through space. Suddenly having flashbacks of Hitchiker's Guide...

Have a good holiday and how cool that you've had a visit with the Duke (I don't mean John Wayne, OBviously). Hope the session went well.

Very Escher looking thing! Don't know if it needs a frame.... But can imagine it with a frame complete with string and nail hanging from the sky. That's probably more Magritte though... A well spotted and interesting image.

Excellent. I prefer it without the frame, too, as the white is a bit bright. A very much darker grey would delineate the composition a bit more subtly.
