A lampshade and spotlights, photographed through the window of an Oxford Street café. That’s all.
I’m uploading this with and without frame, I think it could make quite a difference.
An interesting day ahead - this morning I’m photographing a visit by the Duke of Kent, this afternoon we’re off on holiday. We’ll be back in a couple of weeks time.
Thanks for looking,
Moira

No serious manipulation, Lillian, just tweaks in Levels and Brightness. I was looking up at an angle through the shop window, I was amazed at how black the ceiling came out!
Moira
have a great holiday, we have not even got round to thinking about one as yet, I like the frameless version
Being a frame person I prefer V1
Seems to finish it off for me
Contained or floating free...? I still cannot decide, glad to see opinions divided, it's somehow reassuring!
Thanks everyone,
Moira
Excellent shot Moira, very well spotted and taken. Have a great time on holiday.
Hugh
Excellent shot, i like the framed version. Well done.
Ricky.
Floating free for me Moira - hope the afternoon goes well and enjoy your holiday
Best wishes
Helen
Love it, Moira - a great 'pattern' pic. Has to be V1 for me...
Hope you have a great holiday - only 3 days to mine now!

Would love to have a little chat over a pie and a pint with the Duke,to discuss some of his relations !! We both have Royal connections you see.My lot are like the lot on the telly in The Royal Family !! I prefer your one without the frame Moira.I have been in the frame too many times in the past !!
Have a nice holiday.
Mick.
Ooo...very very VERY well shot, Moira. V2 works better for me 'cos it looks like something flying through space. Suddenly having flashbacks of Hitchiker's Guide...
Have a good holiday and how cool that you've had a visit with the Duke (I don't mean John Wayne, OBviously). Hope the session went well.

Superb image Moira, both versions. You are becoming as famous for your lightshades as you are for your glove!!
Have a great holiday!

I wondered what this might be - superb capture, great light/shadow interacting,
Johanna
Lovely interesting image, prefer the one without the frame and the extra space, have a good holiday
Christine
What an amazing shade, Moira it makes a fascinating image, well captured,
Adrian
Fine opportune, wish I had of caught this one, terrific in every sense
I'll go for the no frame image Moirs it seems to hang freely without the border containment. They are of course both very nice work.
Dougie
A very eyecatching image indeed Moira, I too thought this was digital manipulation
Nice one Moira. I think I prefer it without the frame. Hope you're having a nice holiday. John
