One of a few I took last week in my garden of a Love in a mist seedhead covered in frost. I have digitally manipulated this one and used a split toning type of effect. Version 2 is the original.

Effective manipulation, a big improvement compared with the original.

I'm going to be different, and say that I prefer V.2, I think the background colour is better. Great images, though, very well captured. Carol

Two great variants Angi. V1 has it for me with that warm, almost chocolate layering. Another lovely image.

Whilst V1 pleases me more visually, V2 does capture the essence of cold and winter more....oh, bugger it....I'll go for V1....such a task for a Libran at times.... Smile - Jonathan

I much prefer #1 - somehow the warmer colours seem more natural to me. In fact, I thought, before I read your comments, that #1 was the original and you'd manipulated #2 to look colder!
